Kevin Nishimura is currently the Chief Business Officer of Kakao Entertainment Global, the parent company for K-Pop & K-Music labels: SM Entertainment, Starship Entertainment, EDAM, More Vision and more. Kevin is also a founding member of Far East Movement – the first Asian American artists to reach #1 on the Billboard charts for three consecutive weeks, with multiple Top 10 records worldwide.
Kevin’s community outreach extends through his role as chairman of the Pacific Bridge Arts Foundation providing AAPI GRAMMY Camp Scholarships; his service as 4 year term elected board member/ governor for the Recording Academy GRAMMY LAC; and as co-founder of the Gold Music Alliance – the first official API membership group within the Recording Academy.
