Detroit’s DJ Minx, often hailed as the First Lady of Wax, is a pioneering force in house and techno. Since the early 1990s, she has been shaping Detroit’s underground through her Women on Wax collective and label, legendary club residencies, and an unbroken run of performances at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival / Movement since its inception.
