As Dirtybird’s label manager and EMPIRE’s VP of Operations, Deron Delgado is one of dance music’s most trusted curators. Since 2015, Deron has led Dirtybird’s day-to-day operations, helping execute the label’s creative vision across releases, festivals, and global events. He’s guided dozens of artists’ careers, nurturing many from local openers into international headliners. Following Dirtybird’s acquisition by EMPIRE in 2022, Delgado expanded his role, spearheading growth for the company’s dance division. He’s overseen new signings and label and artist partnerships across the spectrum – Aluna, Rochelle Jordan, The Martinez Brothers, Walker & Royce, VNSSA, Francis Mercier, Soul Clap, to name a few. With nearly two decades of experience across label management, digital distribution, licensing, artist development, event production, publishing, and music marketing, Deron brings a rare perspective on how underground sounds break into the global spotlight.
