International Dance Music Awards

For more than three decades, the International Dance Music Awards (IDMAs) have recognized the artists, music, labels, and industry leaders shaping electronic music worldwide.

Established in 1985 as part of the Winter Music Conference, the IDMAs have grown alongside electronic music, celebrating both the people behind the music and the global industry that supports it Following their 2026 return, the IDMAs continue to evolve, with a renewed focus on reflecting the breadth of today’s international electronic music community.

At the heart of the IDMAs is the IDMA Advisory Board, a select group of respected executives, artists, managers, agents, label representatives, promoters, broadcasters, media figures, and other leaders from across the global electronic music industry. The Advisory Board brings together perspectives from across the business and plays an important role in the IDMA process, helping ensure the awards remain connected to the people and communities actively shaping electronic music today.

The 2027 IDMA Advisory Board members will be announced publicly ahead of the awards.

Additional details on the 2027 International Dance Music Awards, including categories, submissions, voting, and the Advisory Board, will be announced soon.
