For over 20 years, Little Empire Music SVP Paula Quijano has guided some of the industry’s most respected artists including acclaimed singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright, legendary electroclash act Fischerspooner, and the chart-topping electro-pop act, Galantis. Following college, Quijano parlayed a passion for dance music into a career at New York’s MCT Management, where she worked with Moby on his breakthrough album, Play. Over the next decade at MCT, Quijano built her own impressive roster, including Wainwright. She also began producing live events, overseeing concerts at such iconic venues as the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, and The Odeon of Herodes Atticus at the Acropolis. In 2011, Quijano established Little Giant Entertainment with. Clients Bebel Gilberto, Penguin Prison, and the GRAMMY® Award-winning producer and engineer Tom Schick (Wilco, Norah Jones, Mavis Staples), among others. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2013, Quijano brought her formidable roster to Little Empire where she was tapped to steer the career of Galantis through the breakout success of early hits including “Runaway (U & I)” and “Peanut Butter Jelly”. Today, her clientele includes Galantis and Schick, as well as Juno Award-winning artist and sought-after songwriter, Dragonette, UK Electronic duo, Eli & Fur, Filipino American producer/ DJ, Gudfella, and bestselling Australian duo The Presets. Quijano sits on the board of directors for FilAm Arts and is heavily involved with AAPI advocacy within the music and entertainment industries.
