Blake Coppelson is a 26 year old entrepreneur, who started Proximity at the age of 18.
Now, with over 8.5M subscribers and 3.7B views on YouTube, his company has become one of the biggest means of discovering and consuming EDM. Proximity is a curation platform that has expanded in to a record label under Universal Music, boasting a catalogue of over 30 artists under its umbrella. Blake has also partnered with Live Nation to produce and host a “Proximity Art Car” stage at EDC Las Vegas, which is the largest North American music festival, bringing over100,000 ticket attendees each night. In addition to Live Nation, Proximity has partnered with Hakkasan Group, who own Hakkasan, Omnia Night Club, and Wet Republic – three of the biggest clubs in Las Vegas to co-host and co-brand some of the biggest nights of the year with their resident DJs: Calvin Harris, Zedd, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Steve Aoki and many more.
Through curation, live, label – Proximity’s goal is to be at the forefront of Dance/Pop music, as a tastemaker, trusted curator, and a consumer friendly brand.
