Shimza is a global leader in the Afro House scene, known for his deep, rhythmic sound and electrifying performances. His imprint KUNYE, launched in 2020, bridges South Africa’s rising producers with the international stage, featuring collaborations with legends like Louie Vega and Floyd Lavine. He has performed with all the greats of the genre, played explosive sets at Boiler Room and RESISTANCE, and made history as the first artist to perform on Robben Island in 2020. Beyond music, he runs charity initiatives in Johannesburg, supporting underprivileged communities through education and empowerment programs. With his Karma Karma Radio show and acclaimed releases on Cadenza Records and Knee Deep In Sound, Shimza continues to push Afro House to new heights.
