Alex Jukes

Alex Jukes is the founder and director of Jukebox PR, a press company that has grown from humble beginnings in Leeds to become a globally respected business. Working in the music, tech, leisure and nightlife sectors, the ever expanding company now has its headquarters in London, New York, Bangkok and Shanghai and deals with high end clients, international festivals like Kappa Futur Festival, Epizode and Movement, and world renowned DJs like Solomon and Carl Cox, as well as bars, restaurants and tech brands. Most recently it has launched a management arm to deal with music syncing, music law, artist and label management and the emerging Chinese market.

All this is down to Alex’s peerless network of contacts and connections, ability to deliver great results on each and every project and reputation for professionalism. As well as this, he helped to set up SXM Festival, a festival in the Caribbean that in its first year got rave reviews from the likes of Mixmag, and boasts the best DJs from around the planet. With his finger firmly on the pulse of emerging markets and the latest social media trends, he is able to connect directly with the right media outlets and the right audience in the most engaging and fruitful ways. All of this has made him one of the most respected and influential PR experts in the industry.

DJ/Intec Records

I feel fortunate to have been part of the first-ever WMC. Over the 35 years, it has grown to give us an international forum where we exchange music and ideas. As an attendee and host of many of the award shows, I am proud each time I see new young talent emerge and then become world-renowned. We all have so many Winter Music Conference moments of hearing a seminal breakthrough record for the first time as well as a new DJ with star quality. Magical moments in my career.

Daniel Glass

Glassnote Records

Miami has always been a place I’ve considered home and WMC was essential for me and the label in many ways. From showcasing our new music to keeping up with all the new artists and releases. It was the official kickoff of the year and I’m happy to see it thriving again.

The Winter Music Conference represents a chance for Beatport to connect directly with our customer community. Having a strong conference means we have a platform to embrace the entire spectrum of electronic music culture. We are proud to support the resurgence of this great event.

Jonas Tempel

I’m so glad to see WMC rebooted with such thoughtful content and first-class curation. It’s been a long time since the industry had a must-do American event and this is it. The reborn WMC!
