Although Zach began his professional career in entertainment law writing contracts for major motion pictures, his deep passion for live music lead him to the cutting edge of electronic music and technology. After spending the early 2010's as a key leader in the growing the underground Los Angeles bass music scene, promoting and curating events across Southern California, Zach fully made the jump into music tech.
While continuing to produce the sold-out tri-annual Ego Trip events with some of the biggest names in underground dance music, he spent 5 years as the chief evangelist and Head of Business Development of physical bass technology start-up SUBPAC working with artists across the spectrum from Richie Hawtin to Timbaland. While at SUBPAC, Zach produced experiential marketing campaigns and events for major labels, artists, brands, and technology companies such as Universal, Reddit, IMAX, Square Enix, Red Bull, Mass Appeal, Hyperdub, and many more.
Since joining Beatport, the world's largest digital music store for producers and DJs, as the Marketing and Partnerships Manager, Zach has transitioned into product management and marketing for the company, shepherding the next generation of tools for global DJ culture.
