With over 28 years of experience, Stacey Taylor specializes in developing and actualizing results-oriented marketing programs & global partner development strategies in addition to project, metadata, and intellectual property management for the music industry.
Adept with excellent cross-functional communication skills and an ability to effectively connect with DSP’s, music supervisors, labels and artists. Working with all forms and facets of content distribution, Taylor also understands the cultural context of music and how consumers are using digital tools to discover and engage unearthing unique methods to create an omnipresence for a label/artist resulting in a profitable, multiplatform, lifestyle entertainment brand.
Taylor honed her key strengths for strategic planning, developing and effectuating marketing plans and achieving sales goals beginning in 1991 with Warlock/Quality Records, working on such high-profile projects as Trick Daddy, The Cover Girls, Joyce Sims and the gold-certified Dance Mix USA Series.
Taylor also identified and capitalized on the ever-changing marketplace to expand revenues and profit contributions for labels such as Warlock, Pandisc, Ark 21 and Max Music in addition to Grammy winning and nominated artists such as Sting, Stanley Clarke, Ed Calle, Gretchen Parlato, and Andrew Tosh.
Working with a multitude of genres, Taylor implements successful marketing campaigns through all forms of content distribution as well as developing the company’s presence in international, special markets and non-traditional sales sectors, unearthing new streams of revenue. Taylor’s additional experience with start-up distributors, aggregators and labels started with major catalog acquisitions at Warlock Records and a plethora of labels such as Cheetah Records, Aureus Records, Fever Records, Sleeping Bag, Streetwise Records, EKG and many more. Taylor created a template infrastructure for these assets to be successfully integrated into Warlock as well as crafting a plan to solicit/exploit the intellectual properly to generate consistent, positive cash flow.
