Sam Baum is a native of Miami and has spent more than 15 years working in music. His career began in 2002 at The Fader and Cornerstone Promotion in NY and Boston working on campaigns for Fisher Spooner, The Strokes, Outkast and more. In 2008 after returning home he did music direction for B.E.D. and Heathrow, before cofounding infamous creative collective The Overthrow. The Overthrow gained a reputation as a one of Miami’s top nightlife innovators, managing talent, a record label, creating visual art, fashion collaborations and launching music event series such as Basel Castle, Hard 2 Leave, and Dirty Harry while working with clients LiveNation, The Opium Group, MMG, Red Stripe, Jose Cuervo and more. In 2013 he joined Red Bull and became the Director of Culture Marketing, developing national strategy and overseeing tactical execution of the brand's initiatives in music, dance, and art.
