SPIN Creative Director, Danny Klein, has helped lead the publication into a new era of elevated content, experiences and editorial. Working closely with the world’s most notable rising and established recording artists, record labels, and the entertainment ecosystem at large, he’s helped transform the way SPIN’s readers experience music and the pop culture that surrounds it. Danny creative directs and directs SPIN’s cover shoots and motion segments, brand partnership campaigns, live performances and experiences. He helmed the relaunch of SPIN’s brand platform (design language and typography), and has helped to develop and launch SPINTV, SPIN Studios, SPIN Records (Greater Than / Virgin Music Group) and multiple other SPIN properties.
Danny is also a dance music artist, producer and DJ, touring internationally under the name Robot Sunrise. He’s co-written and performed with Grammy-winning artist Really Doe (G.O.O.D. Music) and has co-written with Grammy-nominated Télépopmusik. He’s performed on stages from Jimmy Kimmel Live! to Staples Center to Burning Man and will be returning to the now KIA Center in Los Angeles and other large venues as part of a major US Tour in Spring 2025.
